BEGINNER CLASSES
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

These classes are designed for absolute beginners wanting to learn the craft of jewellery making.
5 week evening class

​In this class you will learn how to make a ring, firstly in copper and then in sterling silver. This project is designed to cover all the basic jewellery making techniques. You will learn how to saw, drill, file, clean, texture, form and solder in a friendly workshop setting.

This class will introduce you to basic jewellery techniques (except soldering). You will make a small series of jewellery pieces in copper and silver.

Using specialist jewellers wax, you scrape, file, drill, sand and shape your own unique carving. This will be cast in silver resulting in an individual piece of your own design.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED CLASSES

If you are proficient with soldering then why not try bezel setting. This class gives a comprehensive introduction to the setting of cabochon stones.
There will be a small selection of cabochons and base metal available for purchase.
